Description

Megalis is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. During sexual stimulation, Megalis enables the penis to fill with enough blood to cause an erection. It is blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5). This helps the smooth muscles in the penis to relax and widen, which allows for more blood to enter.

You should take one tablet (10 mg or 20 mg) daily. Megalis is to treat male impotence (eg, men's erectile dysfunction). It is supposed to be used for other purposes. If you miss a dose of Megalis and you still intend to engage in sexual activity, take it as soon as you remember. Continue to take it as directed by your doctor.

Patients using Megalis may encounter unwanted side effects such as: headache, myalgia (muscle pain), upset stomach following meals, back pain

Sexual stimulation is required for Megalis to be effective. Tell your doctor if you have if you have cardiac disease, then sexual activity is inadvisable. Tell your doctor if you have cardiovascular disease.
